Postdoctoral Fellowship Program Code of Conduct

The CLIR Postdoctoral Fellowship Program is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for all Fellows regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. CLIR does not tolerate harassment in any form. Sexual or discriminatory language and imagery is not appropriate for any event related to fellowships, including conferences and events that fellows might attend and/or participate in. Postdoctoral Fellows violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled at the discretion of CLIR.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual and or discriminatory images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Any Fellow asked to stop any harassing behavior is expected to comply immediately.

If a Fellow engages in harassing behavior, CLIR may take any action it deems appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the Fellowship Program. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the CLIR Postdoctoral Fellowship Program immediately.

CLIR expects all Fellows to follow these rules at all conference venues and fellowship-related social events.
